Well, back to work. Kayla and I recently got back from a long trip to Virginia. Although it was a vacation, we still ended up doing several photo shoots while we were out there. In fact, the last post of Vinnie, was a shoot we did while we were in Philadelphia. I did have the chance to get away from it all for a bit though. My brother-in-law and I kayaked for a couple of days out on the Shenandoah river. I didn't even bring a camera with me, it was kind of nice not to. I don't think I'll ever forget the beauty of the Shenandoah. If there is one thing that you learn as you do photography, it's how to look for beauty in things, but out there you don't have to look very hard.
My sister Angela was down for a couple of weeks and there was no way for her to escape! I had a location that I'd never tried, and luckily she was willing to help me out. If you didn't notice, these pictures are pretty dramatic. I told her that drama was the word of the day. After a while I noticed that she really had a knack for this, and she really enjoyed it, so I took advantage of the situation and drug her to several locations as well as the studio. I thought I'd share my favorites. - Justin
As much as it appears that we were mimicking the titanic pose using a paint can, it really just turned out that way. But, as strange as it is, for some reason I really like it... haha.
